Ramadan Kareem 2011| Ramadan Greetings | Ramadan Dates

In addition to fasting of Ramadhan, Muslims are encouraged to read the entire Qur'an. Some Muslims perform the recitation of the entire Qur'an by means of special prayers, called Tarawih, which are held in the mosques every night of the month.

During the month of Ramadan Muslims are fasting during the day between dawn to sunset. Muslims believe that the Qur’an was sent down to the lowest heaven during this month thus being prepared for gradual revelation by angel Gibril (Gabriel) to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The greatest teacher of the world and prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was the first role model and the best teaches among the whole world as he claimed that he sent down as a teacher. Muhammad (p.b.u.h) has the best moral and characteristics, once someone asked about the life style of Muhammad (p.b.u.h) to Ayesha (R.A), she replied:  have you never read the holy Quran? Muhammad was sent down to warn mankind for wrath and punishment of Allah and to guide human being for paradise.

MUHAMMAD (P.B.U.H): A GREATEST TEACHER ACCORDING TO SOME NON-MUSLIMS ALSO!

Annie Besant in The Life and Teachings of Muhammad (1932) wrote:

“It is impossible for anyone who studies the life and character of the great Prophet of Arabia, who knows how he taught and how he lived, to feel anything but reverence for that mighty Prophet, one of the great messengers of the Supreme...”

Michael H. Hart in his first book The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History (1978), a ranking of the 100 people who most influenced human history, chose Muhammad as the first person on his list,[213] attributing this to the fact that Muhammad was "supremely successful" in both the religious and secular realms.

He also credits the authorship of the Qur'an to Muhammad, making his role in the development of Islam an unparalleled combination of secular and religious influence which entitles Muhammad to be considered the most influential single figure in human history.
