An important woman in my life.

I wanted to really say thank you to my friend Kelsey. She has been a lot of help this past year and a half (most of my friends have)... but, Kelsey has really been there for me. From supporting my crazy blog obsession to babysitting Ruari when I really need to get some work done.

A year ago I was going through some pretty tough post par-tum... lots of crying... depressed... unhappy. Those hormones can be hard on you! She was there for me and really helped me make a decision to take care of my depression. I'm am feeling one million times better today... but, I know I wouldn't have gotten here without the support of my friend.

The photo below was taken almost exactly a year ago. This was when my post par-tum was at it's worst. That's when I started this Paper Mama Blog. Thanks Kelsey! You are a true friend.

Eli turns 3! (Like a week ago...)

{For Mellow Yellow Challenge}

SO, Eli turned 3 a week ago. Eli is Kelsey's middle child. Aww... I remember holding him a little teeny newborn... you know... before he was sneaky and up to no good. I only joke, he's a great kid... he's just the "King of Loopholes" as Kelsey says (she actually wrote a post about him on Saturday).

Well... this King is now 3. I have to let you know I'm SO proud of myself for getting these photos of him. Yes they are noisy and it's a little dark... BUT: He is the sneakiest little booger and every time I pick up my camera... he suddenly disappears or turns his head... oye. BUT... for his birthday celebration (maybe even a little belated birthday gift to me ;D) he didn't turn his head or hide! I even caught a couple of little smiley smirks from him. Yes! ::high fives all around::

Below is the squishiest baby ever! Chubby wubby. I love to squish her. Little baby Xamara. Daughter to my Roxana. By the way... the shot of Ruari is the only photo I managed to get of her that day. She was completely glued to me and wouldn't even go a foot away. Oh well. :)

Courtney's Baby Shower

Saturday we celebrated the pregnancy of my dear friend Courtney. She's one of my best friends. I'm just so happy and excited for her to join the world of mommy-hood! She's due in May. Can't wait to meet little baby Ayana!

Happy First Birthday Coral!!!

This last Friday Miss Coral (Kelsey's little baby girl) turned one. I got some really sweet shots of her enjoying her first birthday cupcake. She's so cute!

And... how about a little flashback... this was us 11 months ago. Aww...
