spring wrap

OK, this is sort of my own pattern. I made it for a friend's birthday. She's really into earth tones and loves green. Hopefully, she'll enjoy it.

Really the interior of it is rather simple..single crochet. I kept thinking of a fisherman's net. It more of something spring and summer for the beach or a cool night that can just rest on your shoulders. Using this "netting" technique does make the yarn go farther.

The edging is double crochet.

The peculiar thing is that I don't keep that many things I crochet for myself.

Generally, I give them away. I'm working on a triangular scarf at the moment. I think I'll keep it. I'm not sure anyone would want it.
