The prostitute who slept with Wayne Rooney while his wife Coleen was pregnant was attacked after pub revellers taunted her about the alleged affair.

Helen Wood was out with friends in the Heaton area of Bolton, Greater Manchester, when it is understood a group of drinkers - both men and women - recognised her and began chanting: ‘Rooney, Rooney’.

It is believed her friend asked them to stop, but the taunts continued and eventually Miss Wood started arguing with the group.

A row then broke out at The Victoria Inn, which ended with the 24-year-old lying on the floor and being kicked in the face by two women, it is claimed....source Daily Mail
